Dear Parents,

Round and round we go ~ where we go or where we stop nobody knows! It seems like yesterday we arrived in the St. Francis Xavier School yard, students awaiting their assignment and placement for the school year 2009~2010.

The magic of the carousel never leaves our lives. As young children, we stand waiting to board, choosing with excitement the white stallion or golden palomino that will carry us round and round on our ride. The music beckons and calls us, and we eagerly hop aboard with our friends for those wonderful moments of childhood delight.

So too, it has been a magical ride that we have taken on our yearly St. Francis Xavier School carousel. As the music slows downs a bit we can take time to recall the wonderful moments experienced during our ride, taking with us precious memories of a school year that provided numerous experiences and challenges.

May your summer be a time for renewal, relaxation and reflection. Perhaps you can take time to enjoy a ride on the carousel at Nantasket!
