SFX 50th Anniversary - 1958 to 2008 - Update

Welcome all future alumni and families to St. Francis Xavier School's 50th Anniversary Year - we are delighted to celebrate this Jubilee milestone with all of you!!

To celebrate, your School, Alumni Association and Parish are planning a number of exciting events and activities and we will be inviting graduates from 1965 (our first graduating class) through 2008 (our most recent graduates) back to their alma mater to visit and participate with us in the festivities!

Our Jubilee Calendar includes activities that are part of our school's traditional schedule as well as special events we are planning in honor of our Anniversary. First up and most notable is our school's first-ever Alumni Weekend, Sept. 5-7! Letters have gone out to all our Alumni, and we anticipate a nice turn-out, especially for the Alumni Mass on Sunday, Sept. 7. We hope you, too, will plan to join us!!

SFX Grads from the Classes of 2004-2008 are invited to a First-Class Pizza Party hosted by the SFX Alumni Association!

Also On Deck for Fall 2008:

· We are creating a display to highlight our 50 years of excellence in education and are seeking items on loan to include in this display (photos, programs, uniforms). If you are able to help, please contact us at 781/337-2171 or sfxalumni@verizon.net. Thank you!
· A mailing to alumni and parents of alumni of our special Jubilee issue of "SFX - New Students, Same Faith" is due out in October.

· We continue to update our Alumni Database, so we are able to stay connected with our graduates and keep them informed of the amazing things happening everyday at our school

· We are continuing a summer project to reach out to Alumni living out of state - so far we have located alumni in 25 of our 50 United States!

· We are seeking volunteers to serve as Class Agents to keep us up-to-date with alumni doings! If you are interested, or know someone who is, please contact Tammy at sfxalumni@verizon.net or 781/337-2171.

· We are seeking Alumni interested in serving alongside our founding Alumni Association board members.
